MEP Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled, technically strong, and result-oriented MEP Project Manager with deep expertise in mechanical systems, MS structural fabrication/erection, and elevator (lift) installation coordination. The ideal candidate will oversee integrated Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) works along with civil and structural interfaces, ensuring end-to-end project delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complete on-site execution and management of Mechanical, MS infrastructure, Elevator & MEP systems.
Oversee MS fabrication, structural installation, equipment erection, and alignment activities.
Manage and supervise elevator installation, vendor coordination, shaft readiness, quality checks, and compliance.
Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, resources, and critical path activities.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, elevator OEMs, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality benchmarks, IS/IEC/ASME codes, and project specifications.
Review, verify, and approve technical drawings, BOQs, method statements, and fabrication drawings.
Manage project budgets, cost optimization, vendor negotiations, and material procurement.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality audits for mechanical and MS works.
Resolve technical/site challenges and ensure smooth work progress and timely handover.
Prepare detailed progress reports, MIS, RFI documentation, and presentation updates for management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
7–12 years of proven experience in MEP execution with strong exposure to:
Mechanical systems installation
MS structural fabrication & erection
Elevator (Lift) installation coordination & supervision
Large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
Excellent knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Electrical systems, and civil integration.
Strong understanding of project scheduling tools (MS Project / Primavera), AutoCAD, and QA/QC processes.
Exceptional leadership, communication, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver within strict timelines and safety standards.
